Color Run
also known as 'the Happiest Race on the Planet'. At intervals during the untimed race, bursts of color are shot out at the racers.
By the end of the race, the racers white t-shirts are now covered in colors.
Williams Elementary Color Run 2020
It is a fundraising run to support the purchase of technology, classroom materials and student and staff needs. The children seek family and friends to pledge funds for the laps they run.
Each grade has a different time that they run. There are all different colored powdered dyes that are thrown on the kids as they run. Music is played as well.
Local business are also encouraged to support the run. The kids are encouraged to be philanthropic, physically fit and help their fellow students out by raising funds that will be used to benefit all the students.
